Summer 2010 updates

Summer is such a wonderful time to shop and experience local farmers markets: from local artists and artisans who display their unique talents, to fresh produce from local growers. This allows the consumer to have face-to-face interaction and education about the food we eat, and experience the unique talents of local area artists/artisans.

I have had the opportunity to be a vendor at some of these local markets that support the values of buy local buy fresh, and who also support local area artists and artisans, each gifted in their medium of work. All of the vendors are integral to the spirit of supporting our local communities. This can be witnessed in the passion each vendor willingly shares to consumers in the work they do.
